There is a new mayor in town. This is big news as the infamous Willi Brown bumped up against term limits making room for Newsom to take over the helm. It will be an interesting term as SF has many big city problems to be dealt with. The homeless, the economy, transportation and security are all big things - you need to have gone to SF to understand why. I love that place and SF Gate is one of my favorite websites. the editorial angle and coverage reek of the of the city. City by the bay!

I am going to RSA US again this year. Last year was a great time and full of good learnings. This one will prove to be just as exciting. Make sure to tune in to the slippery slopes during the show [feb 23-27] for some insight and on the ground reports.

the snow has finally left us but not before a last minute ice storm. A gaggle of large maple tree branches fell on matt's car and we lost an additional maple tree on the side of the house. It fell in the street so we had a saw crew cutting wood at 5 am to clear the road. No real damage and it is nice to have that episode behind us.

I was watching the very unfortuante news today about the loss of more american soldiers in a helocopter crash in Felujah, Iraq when i head of a military base called camp seitz! Scroll down the page to see photos of camp seitz in action! I am thinking i may have to reclaim my Iraqi kingdom.

ok folks i am back again. after the holiday's and such it is back in front of the computer and turning the brain back on. andrea and i have been so busy on the house. we continue to rehab the bedrooms and teh living room downstairs. jan and feb we will start to kick in on kitchen. mar-tay is going to come and do some destruction - knocking out walls and such. I am really looking forward to getting the garage cleared out again. also excited to get the media room going. more to come.
